Wyze Cam Pan Mounting Kit (Wyze)

The Wyze Cam Pan mounting kit, the official part for putting a Pan on a wall or a ceiling. A bracket with a detachable magnetic base that screws into the tripod thread on the bottom of the camera. The bracket screws into the tripod thread on the bottom of the camera and holds it magnetically, and the magnet is strong enough that the camera stays put while the motor swings it. But it also lifts straight off in your hand. So checking a setting, moving the camera to another room for an afternoon, or taking it down when guests come is a two second job rather than an operation with a screwdriver on a ladder.

180 degrees of hinge, which is why it works on a ceiling

The hinge swings through a full 180 degrees vertically. That single range is what lets one bracket serve a wall, a ceiling and the underside of a shelf, rather than needing a different part for each. On a Pan, ceiling mounting is often the best position in a room, because it gives the camera a clean sweep with nothing in the way.

Fifteen feet of cable is the real reason people buy the kit

A 15 ft micro USB cable is included, which is the difference between putting the camera where the view is and putting it near a socket. Six cable clips come with it, so the lead runs neatly along a skirting or a door frame instead of looping across a wall. The cable also fits the Wyze Cam v1 and v2 if you later use it elsewhere.

Which one you need

This kit is for the Wyze Cam Pan. For a standard Wyze Cam, the official part is the Wyze Cam mounting kit instead.
