A Wyze power cable, 26 feet long, so the camera goes where it should. The lead in a camera box gets you as far as the nearest socket, which is almost never where the view is. The lead in the box reaches the nearest socket, and the nearest socket is almost never where the view is. That single constraint is why so many cameras end up pointed at a corner of a sitting room instead of at the door, the stairs or the gate. Eight metres of cable covers a corridor, a stairwell, a garage wall or a corner of a compound from the nearest indoor outlet, and the camera goes where it should.

Two amps, because a camera does more than watch

It supports up to 2.0 A. That headroom matters on a camera that also has to drive a pan motor and infrared night lighting, both of which draw hardest at the moment the camera is doing something worth recording. A thin cable that sags under that load produces a camera which reboots at night for no visible reason, and people blame the camera.

The protection inside is not decoration

There is a security chip in the cable that guards against high voltage, high current and overheating. On a long run carrying power to something left on continuously, in a climate where sockets and supply are not always gentle, that is a sensible thing to have between the mains adapter and the camera.

Built for being moved

The jacket passed over 8000 bend cycles in testing. A camera cable gets clipped around a door frame, tucked behind furniture, pulled straight and re-routed every time somebody rearranges a room. That is where cheap cables fail, usually at the connector, and usually a week after you stop thinking about them.
