Smart Lock - Rose Set Handle - S604L - Gold

A gold smart lock: a lever handle for an inside door, in gold. The fingerprint reader is in the handle and the keypad is the glass strip along it. The round escutcheon with the cylinder mounts separately, which is what makes it a rose set: no long plate down the door, just a handle and a disc.

Gold is the reason to choose this one over the black. The hardware is identical. In a room with brass or gold fittings the black version reads as an add-on and this one does not.

Four ways in: fingerprint, code, the Tuya app over Bluetooth and a mechanical key. IC cards can be ordered as an option. It holds 300 users and matches a fingerprint in 0.6 seconds. There is a normally open mode for the hours when a room is in constant use.

One thing to be clear about. This lock talks Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi. Your phone has to be near the door. If you want to send a code to somebody while you are out, or see who opened the door while you were away, add the Tuya Bluetooth Hub, which we sell separately. Without it the lock still works perfectly well by finger, code and key.

It fits interior doors 30 to 60 mm thick on a 5072 mortise, 22 x 235 mm, with 4085 and 5085 available to order. Grade C cylinder, zinc alloy body, four AAA cells and a micro USB port for a power bank. Grey can be ordered.

Fitting

It suits interior doors 30 to 60 mm thick on a 5072 mortise at 22 x 235 mm, with 4085 and 5085 available to order. The handle is 65 x 145 x 26 mm with a 55 mm escutcheon, in zinc alloy around a Grade C cylinder.

Four AAA cells run it with a micro USB port for a power bank. The same handle is stocked in black, and grey can be ordered.

Stand in the room first

This is a finish decision, not a technical one. Identical hardware to the black S604L. If the handles, hinges and sockets around it are brass or gold, this disappears into them and the black one does not. If they are chrome or white, buy the black.
