About this product
A glass door smart lock for the one door most locks cannot go on: frameless glass. Shopfronts, showrooms, meeting rooms and reception areas, where the door is a sheet of toughened glass with no frame to screw into. It clamps the glass instead.
- The door most locks cannot go on
- Why a business wants a glass door smart lock
- Screen, doorbell and speed
- Two things to settle first
- Glass thickness, and the handles
Five ways in: fingerprint, code, IC card, the Tuya app and a mechanical key. Wi-Fi is built in, so there is no gateway to buy. For a business that matters more than it does at home: staff get their own fingerprints, a contractor gets a one-time password that dies after a single use, and the app keeps the record of who opened up in the morning.
It holds 300 users, nine of them administrators, and has a colour screen, a doorbell and spoken prompts. Fingerprints read at any angle and match in 0.6 seconds.
The glass must be 8 to 12 mm thick. It suits a single glass door or a pair. The door handle is not included, so if you are fitting this to a bare glass door, budget for handles too. Grey anodised aluminium with a black glass front.
The door most locks cannot go on
A glass door smart lock clamps the glass rather than screwing into a frame, which is what makes it fit a frameless toughened glass door. Shopfronts, showrooms, meeting rooms and reception areas are all built that way, and an ordinary mortise or rim lock has nothing to fix to.
The glass has to be 8 to 12 mm thick, and it suits a single glass door or a pair of them.
Why a business wants a glass door smart lock
Five ways in: fingerprint, code, IC card, the Tuya app and a mechanical key, with Wi-Fi built in so there is no gateway to buy. For a business that matters more than it does at home. Staff get their own fingerprints, a contractor gets a one-time password that dies after a single use, and the app keeps the record of who opened up in the morning.
It holds 300 users, 291 of them standard and nine administrators, which covers a shop or an office without running out of slots.
Screen, doorbell and speed
There is a colour screen, a built-in doorbell and spoken prompts, so nobody is guessing at what the lock is doing. The semiconductor sensor reads at any angle, matches a print in 0.6 seconds and reacts in under 0.1 seconds. Published rates are a false rejection rate at or below 0.1% and a false acceptance rate at or below 0.001%. The keypad is a 12-key touchscreen taking 6 to 8 digit codes.
Two things to settle first
The door handle is not included. If you are fitting this to a bare glass door, budget for handles as well, and tell us and we will quote them with it.
The body is grey anodised aluminium with a black glass front, 190 x 70 x 39 mm. Four AA alkaline cells power it, with a 5 V USB Type-C port for emergency power and a low voltage warning at 4.6 V. It works from -25 to 60 degrees C.
Glass thickness, and the handles
Two things before you order. Your glass has to be 8 to 12 mm, which covers most shopfront and partition glazing but not all of it. And the door handle is not in the box, so if the door is currently bare, budget for handles and we will quote them alongside.
For a shop this earns its keep on the access log more than the lock: staff prints, a one-time code for a contractor, and a record of who opened up. Other locks: smart locks. App: tuya.com.

Questions
Will it fit my glass door?
The glass has to be 8 to 12 mm thick and the door frameless, which is the usual shopfront and office glass door. Measure the thickness at the edge, or send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you before you order.
Does it come with a handle?
No. The lock is the lock. If your glass door has no handles yet you need to buy those separately, so allow for it when you are pricing the job.
Do I need a hub or a gateway?
No. Wi-Fi is built in, so it joins your router directly and appears in the Tuya app on its own.
Can I give a contractor access for one visit?
Yes. The app makes one-time passwords that stop working after a single use, and ordinary temporary codes with an expiry. Every entry is logged, so you can see who opened up and when.
What about a pair of glass doors?
It is made for a single leaf or a pair. Tell us which you have and roughly how the two leaves meet, and we will confirm the fitting before you order.
Anything else? Ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight.
