How do I pay?
- Cash on delivery — Dar es Salaam only. Pay the rider when it reaches you. Outside Dar es Salaam we ask for payment before we send it.
- Lipa number. M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas (Tigo Pesa), Airtel Money or Halopesa. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send you the number.

About this product
Interlinked smoke alarms: when one sounds, they all sound. That is the whole idea. A fire that starts in the store room at the back of the house is announced in the bedroom at the front, which is the part that actually saves people.
They link to each other by radio, with no wiring, no hub and no Wi-Fi. You press the button on each unit to pair them and they stay paired. X-Sense quote 18 units on one group in their specification and up to 24 in their product description, so a whole house or a small block is easily covered.
The sensor is photoelectric, which is the type that responds best to slow smouldering fires, the ones that start at night. The alarm is 85 dB at three metres and the LED flashes with it.
It is 78 mm across, so it disappears on a ceiling. One button tests and hushes, and the whole group can be tested or hushed from the X-Sense remote without a ladder.

Questions
How many do I need?
One in each bedroom and one on each landing or hallway is the usual answer. Because they interlink, every extra unit makes the others more useful.
Do they need Wi-Fi or a hub?
No. They talk to each other on their own radio. If you want alerts on your phone, the Wi-Fi version is the one to buy.
How do I link them?
By pressing the button on each unit to pair it into the group. No wiring and no app.
How do I silence one on a high ceiling?
With the X-Sense remote, sold separately. It tests and hushes the whole group from the floor, and it also tells you which unit found the smoke.
Do I ever change the battery?
No. The battery is sealed in and the unit is marked battery not replaceable. It runs for ten years and then the whole alarm is replaced.
