How do I pay?
- Cash on delivery — Dar es Salaam only. Pay the rider when it reaches you. Outside Dar es Salaam we ask for payment before we send it.

About this product
A Zigbee door and window sensor. Two parts stick on, one on the frame and one on the leaf, and the moment they separate the hub is told and your phone follows.
Zigbee rather than Wi-Fi is the point. It uses a fraction of the power, so the battery lasts far longer than a Wi-Fi sensor, and it does not take up a slot on your router. Every mains powered Zigbee device in the house also extends the range, so a sensor at the back gate can reach a hub at the front.
The body is 55 mm long and the magnet 35 mm, so it disappears on a frame. It uses a Hall sensor rather than a simple reed, and it reports tampering as well as opening. Low battery is reported too, so it does not die quietly.
A Zigbee hub is required and is not included. Add the hub to the Smart Life or Tuya app first, then add this sensor to the hub.

Questions
Do I need a hub?
Yes. This is a Zigbee device and a Zigbee hub has to be on site. We sell them. If you would rather not run a hub, buy the Wi-Fi door sensor instead.
Why choose Zigbee over Wi-Fi?
Battery life, mainly. A Zigbee sensor sips power where a Wi-Fi one drinks it. Zigbee also does not fill your router with devices, and mains powered Zigbee devices repeat the signal so the range grows as you add more.
Which hub?
Any Tuya or Smart Life Zigbee hub. Add the hub to the app first, then add this sensor to the hub.
How is it fitted?
Adhesive on both halves, lined up beside each other on the frame and the moving part. No drilling.
What battery does it take?
One CR2032 coin cell, and the app warns you in the app before it stops working.
