About this product
Read this first: the Wyze lock keypad does not work on its own. It is an accessory for the Wyze Lock and it will not open anything without one. It also does not work with the Wyze Lock Bolt. If you do not already have a Wyze Lock, this is not the product you want.

- Small things that matter at the door
- Only buy this with a Wyze Lock
With one, it is the piece that makes the lock work for everybody in the house. The Wyze Lock is opened by phone, and not everybody has a phone or wants to take it out. The keypad puts a code on the wall instead: children, a house help, a relative, a contractor.
It is completely wireless, with no wire to the lock and no wire to a socket, so it goes wherever suits: by the door, at the gate, at the top of the steps. Two AA cells run it for four to six months, the keys are LED backlit for the dark, and it is IPX5, so rain is fine.
Codes can be time based, live only on certain days and between certain hours, which is how you give a cleaner Tuesday mornings and nothing else. A one-touch lock button locks the door as you leave, and you can pad your code with extra digits before or after so anyone watching learns nothing.
Read this before you order
The Wyze lock keypad does not work on its own. It is an accessory for the Wyze Lock and it will not open anything without one, and it does not work with the Wyze Lock Bolt either. If you do not already have a Wyze Lock, this is not the product you want and we would rather say so here than take the order.
What it adds to a Wyze Lock
The Wyze Lock is opened by phone, and not everybody in a house has one or wants to take it out. The Wyze lock keypad puts a code on the wall instead, which covers children, a house help, an older relative and a contractor in one go.
Codes are four to eight digits. They can be time based, live only on certain days and between certain hours, which is how you give a cleaner Tuesday mornings and nothing else.
Where a Wyze lock keypad goes
It is completely wireless. There is no wire to the lock and no wire to a socket, so it mounts wherever suits: beside the door, out at the gate, or at the top of the steps. Two AA cells are included and run it for four to six months.
The keys are LED backlit for the dark and it is rated IPX5, so rain is not a problem.
Small things that matter at the door
A one-touch lock button locks the door as you leave, without opening the app or waiting for auto-lock. And you can pad your code with extra digits before or after the real one, so anybody watching over your shoulder learns a string that will not work again.
One figure we will not invent: Wyze do not publish the code capacity for this keypad. Ask us and we will find out rather than quote you a number.
Only buy this with a Wyze Lock
It is worth saying once more at the bottom of the page. This keypad does nothing on its own, and it does not work with the Wyze Lock Bolt. If you do not already own a Wyze Lock, close this tab and look at the locks instead.
With one on the door it is the piece that lets the rest of the household in. Two AA cells, no wiring, mounts wherever suits. Wyze list the compatibility at wyze.com, and our smart locks are here.

Questions
Can I use this without a Wyze Lock?
No. Wyze say so plainly and so will we: it is an accessory, not a lock, and it will not open anything on its own. It also does not work with the Wyze Lock Bolt. If you do not already have a Wyze Lock, message us and we will point you at something that works by itself.
Why would I add it?
Because the Wyze Lock is opened by phone, and not everybody in a house has one, or wants to get it out in the rain. The keypad gives everyone else a code.
Can I give somebody access only on certain days?
Yes. Codes can be set to work on chosen days between chosen hours, so a cleaner gets Tuesday mornings and nothing else, without you being there to let them in.
Can it go outside?
Yes. It is rated IPX5 for rain and it is completely wireless, so there is nothing to run to it. Mount it wherever it suits, as long as it is close enough to the lock to talk to it.
How many codes does it hold?
Wyze do not publish a figure, so we are not going to invent one. Ask us what you need it to do and we will check it against the unit before you order.
Anything else? Ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight.
