How do I pay?
- Cash on delivery — Dar es Salaam only. Pay the rider when it reaches you. Outside Dar es Salaam we ask for payment before we send it.
- Lipa number. M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas (Tigo Pesa), Airtel Money or Halopesa. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send you the number.

About this product
A door and window sensor that joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi directly. No hub, no gateway, nothing else to buy. Stick the two halves on, add it in the Smart Life app and your phone is told within a few seconds of the door opening.
It goes anywhere you want to know about: front door, back door, windows, cabinets, drawers, a store room, a shop shutter, an office. The app keeps a history, so you can see when the door was opened rather than only being told at the time.
The device can be shared with the rest of the family in the app, so everyone gets the same alerts. It answers to Alexa and Google Assistant as well.
The two AAA cells are in the box and last over six months, and the app warns you before they die. It fixes with the supplied tape or screws. It tolerates a gap of up to about 1 cm between the two halves with the door closed, which is more forgiving than most.

Questions
Do I need a hub?
No. It joins your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on its own. If you would rather run a hub and get longer battery life, the Zigbee version is the one to buy.
Which app?
Smart Life or Tuya. Either one, they are the same system, and most of the other Wi-Fi devices we sell live in the same app.
Will it work on 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
No. It needs the 2.4 GHz band. Most routers broadcast both, so this is usually only a problem if 2.4 GHz has been switched off.
Are the batteries included?
Yes, two AAA cells, and they last over six months. The app tells you when they are low.
How far from the router can it be?
It has to stay inside the Wi-Fi coverage of the house. If the front gate is out of range, a Zigbee sensor with a hub will reach further.
