About this product
The Fibaro Double Switch 2 gives two independently switched circuits out of one back box, each one metered.

Two circuits from one back box
The ceiling light and the wall lights. The veranda light and the security lamp. Both switched independently and both metered, from one module behind the switch plate you already have.
On a two gang plate that is one module instead of two, one set of wiring in a box that is probably already crowded, and both existing switches carrying on exactly as before.
Read this first: it is Z-Wave, not Wi-Fi
The Fibaro Double Switch 2 needs a Z-Wave controller and one is not included.
We sell three that run it: the Home Center Lite, the Home Center 2 and the Homey Pro. If a controller is not in your plan, the Shelly 2.5 does two channels over plain Wi-Fi with no hub.
Watch the load figures: they are lower than a single channel
This is the number people get wrong. Fibaro publish 6.5A per channel and 10A across both together.
Two lighting circuits are comfortable. Two heavy loads are not, and putting a geyser on one channel and a pump on the other breaches the 10A total even though each sits inside the 6.5A per channel figure. If both loads are heavy, use two single channel modules on separate circuits.
Metering on both channels
Active power and energy on each channel separately, accurate to 1 per cent above 5W.
So the two circuits report independently rather than giving you one combined figure, which is the point of metering two things from one module. Being mains powered it also repeats the Z-Wave signal for the battery devices around it.
Fitting the Fibaro Double Switch 2
42.5 x 38.25 x 20.3mm, on a 100 to 240V supply. An electrician fits it, and it needs a neutral in the box.
Older Dar wiring often has only a live and a switched line at the switch, which rules this module out. Have the electrician check before you order. Both existing wall switches keep working, and there is no dimming on this module. The manufacturer page is at fibaro.com.

Questions
Do I need anything else to use it?
Yes, a Z-Wave controller, and it is not included. The Fibaro Home Center Lite, the Fibaro Home Center 2 and the Homey Pro all run it and we stock all three.
Can I put two heavy loads on it?
No. 6.5 A per channel and only 10 A across the two together, in a small module sealed inside a wall. Two lighting circuits are what it is for. Tell us the two loads and we will check them.
Do I need a neutral?
Yes, in the switch box. If yours has only a live and a switched line, this module cannot be used and we will point you at one that works without.
Do both my existing switches still work?
Yes, one per channel, and they behave exactly as they did. Momentary and toggle are both supported.
