About this product
A rechargeable motion sensor closet light in a slim aluminium bar, for the places that were never wired. It senses movement, lights up, and switches itself off a few seconds after you leave.

Where a motion sensor closet light earns its place
Inside a wardrobe, where there has never been a socket and nobody is going to chase a cable into one. Under a kitchen unit. Along a pantry shelf. In a store cupboard, a meter box, or on a dark stair.
The common thread is that all of those places were built without light and would cost real money to wire. This solves it for the price of a light bar and ten minutes of your time.
No wiring, and no socket either
The battery is built in and charges from the USB cable supplied. In practice that means taking it down every few weeks, charging it, and putting it back.
It mounts on an adhesive magnetic steel strip rather than screwing to the surface, so it lifts off in one movement and clicks back on straight. That is what makes the recharging bearable. A light you have to unscrew twice a month is a light you stop charging.
It only comes on in the dark
The sensor checks the light level before it triggers. Open the wardrobe in daylight and nothing happens, because nothing needs to.
That is what stretches the charge from days to weeks. A motion light that fires every time somebody walks past in a lit room is flat by the end of the month.
What it does not do
There is no app, no Wi-Fi, no pairing and no account. It is a sensor, a battery and some LEDs in an aluminium bar.
For a cupboard that is exactly right. If you want a light that appears in an app, runs on a schedule or reports back to a hub, this is the wrong product and a smart bulb in a wired fitting is the answer.
Two figures we will not guess at
Battery capacity and LED count vary between production batches on this product. Rather than publish a number that may not match the unit in the box, we will read the label on the one in stock and tell you what it actually says.
Ask before ordering if either figure matters to you. If you want several units and no charging at all, the eufy Lumi three pack runs on AAA cells for up to a year instead, though the light is smaller and warmer. Both use a passive infrared sensor, which detects the heat of a body moving across its field rather than movement itself.

Questions
Does it need wiring or a socket?
No. The battery is inside it and it charges from the USB cable supplied. Nothing has to be run to the cupboard.
How does it fix in place?
A thin magnetic steel strip sticks to the surface and the light clips onto it. That is what lets you pull it down to charge and put it back straight, without peeling anything off.
Will it come on every time I walk past?
Only in the dark. In a lit room it stays off, which is what makes a charge last.
How long does a charge last?
That depends on how often it triggers and how long it stays on. Batteries in this class of light vary between batches, so rather than print a figure we cannot stand behind, ask us and we will read the capacity off the unit in stock.
Can I use several in one cupboard?
Yes. Each one is independent, with its own sensor and its own battery, so a long wardrobe often gets two.
