Control Interlinked Alarms from the Floor
The X-Sense RC01 Pro remote controller allows you to test and silence compatible wireless interconnected smoke and carbon monoxide alarms without reaching for ladders or broom handles.
Pinpoint the Initiating Alarm
When an interconnected system triggers, locating the hazard quickly is essential. Pressing the silence button once silences every interconnected unit except the initiating alarm that detected the smoke or gas. Pressing the button a second time silences the initiating unit.
Standalone RF Operation
The remote communicates directly with compatible alarms via radio frequency (868 MHz / 915 MHz) with an open-air range of up to 15 meters. It does not require Wi-Fi, internet access, a mobile app, or a central base station like the SBS50.
Pairing and Setup
Pairing is handled directly on the hardware: press the test and silence button on an interconnected alarm four times until it beeps, then press the test button on the remote twice. The remote is powered by a replaceable 3 V CR2032 lithium battery accessible via the included opening key.

Does this remote require Wi-Fi or an internet connection?
No. The remote operates via radio frequency directly to compatible wireless interlinked alarms without needing Wi-Fi, mobile apps, or the SBS50 base station.
How does the remote locate the alarm that triggered?
Pressing the button once during an alarm silences all interconnected detectors except the initiating unit that detected the smoke or CO. Pressing it a second time silences the initiating unit.
How is the remote paired with alarms?
Press the test/silence button on one of your interlinked alarms four times until it beeps and flashes, then press the button on the remote twice. The alarm beeps once when pairing succeeds.
Can this remote detect smoke or carbon monoxide?
No. The RC01 Pro is strictly a remote controller for testing and silencing compatible alarms and does not contain detection sensors.
What battery does it require and is it included?
It uses a single 3 V CR2032 lithium battery, which comes pre-installed with an insulating film that must be removed prior to use.
