About this product
A WiFi touch switch 4 gang in tempered glass that replaces the light switch on your wall and puts four circuits on your phone. No hub, no gateway: it joins your Wi-Fi on its own and appears in the Smart Life app.
- Four gangs is rarer than people think
- A WiFi touch switch 4 gang means one plate instead of two
- Four independent devices in the app
- The wiring question, and it is not optional
- Before you order
Tempered glass, treated to resist damp, so a kitchen or a bathroom is fine.
Four gangs is rarer than people think
Before ordering a WiFi touch switch 4 gang, go and count the buttons on the plate you intend to replace. Four button plates exist mainly at the entrance of a large house, at the head of a staircase, or in a commercial unit where a bank of circuits is switched from one point. Most rooms that look like they need four turn out to have two plates of two, which is a different and cheaper order.
A WiFi touch switch 4 gang means one plate instead of two
Where four circuits genuinely do meet at one box, this is the tidy outcome: one piece of glass on the wall rather than two plates with a gap between them that never quite line up. In an entrance hall that is the difference between a wall that looks finished and one that looks added to over the years.
Four independent devices in the app
Each gang appears separately in Smart Life, with its own schedule, its own scenes and its own voice name. So on a four gang hall plate the outside light can run dusk to dawn, the gate light can follow a sensor, the passage can be on a timer and the fourth can stay a plain switch, all from the same face on the wall.
The wiring question, and it is not optional
A neutral is needed at the back box. The switch has to stay powered when all four circuits are off, and it cannot do that from the switched live alone. A lot of older wiring in this city does not bring the neutral to the plate. Have it opened and checked first; a four gang plate is the most expensive one to buy twice.
Before you order
Send us the button count on the existing plate and a photograph of the inside of the back box. Those two answers settle both the gang count and the neutral.
In black glass the same plate is the 4 gang black. Fewer circuits: the 3 gang, the 2 gang and the 1 gang. You will be doing this in Smart Life, which is a free download.

Questions
Do I need a hub?
No. It joins your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on its own and works in the Smart Life or Tuya app.
Do I need a neutral wire?
Yes, and this is the question to settle before you order. Many older switch boxes here have only the live and the switched live. Ask your electrician to open the plate and look.
Will it work if the internet goes down?
The touch panel still switches the lights. The app and the voice control need the connection.
Can somebody else in the house control it?
Yes. Share the device in the app and every account you share it with gets the same control.
Who fits it?
A licensed electrician. It replaces the existing switch in the wall box and is wired to mains.
