Why choose the WiFi touch switch 4 gang black

Black glass is a decision about the wall, not about the switch. Against a dark feature wall, dark timber, or a hall painted in anything deeper than a pale neutral, a white plate sits forward and is the first thing the eye lands on. Black recedes into it. In a bright white room the reverse is true and the white version is the one to take, so pick by what is behind the plate rather than by what looks better in a photograph.

The practical advantage nobody mentions: on black glass the backlit touch points are far easier to find in a dark hall at night, because there is more contrast between the lit spot and the panel around it. Two things to settle before ordering, and both are quick. The existing plate must have four buttons, not four lamps in the room. And there must be a neutral wire in the back box, because the switch has to power itself with all four circuits off. Older wiring here frequently brings only the live and the switched live to the plate.
