About this product
A WiFi touch switch 4 gang black in tempered glass that replaces the light switch on your wall and puts four circuits on your phone. No hub, no gateway: it joins your Wi-Fi on its own and appears in the Smart Life app.
- Why choose the WiFi touch switch 4 gang black
- The illuminated touch points against black
- Four circuits, four separate devices
- Count the buttons, and check the neutral
- What we need from you
The black glass wipes clean and resists damp, so a kitchen is fine.
Alexa and Google Assistant both answer to it.
Why choose the WiFi touch switch 4 gang black
Black glass is a decision about the wall, not about the switch. Against a dark feature wall, dark timber, or a hall painted in anything deeper than a pale neutral, a white plate sits forward and is the first thing the eye lands on. Black recedes into it. In a bright white room the reverse is true and the white version is the one to take, so pick by what is behind the plate rather than by what looks better in a photograph.
The illuminated touch points against black
The practical advantage nobody mentions: on black glass the backlit touch points are far easier to find in a dark hall at night, because there is more contrast between the lit spot and the panel around it. On a four gang plate, where you are looking for one of four positions in the dark, that is worth having.
Four circuits, four separate devices
Each gang appears on its own in the Smart Life app, with its own schedule, its own scenes and its own voice name, so a hall plate can run the outside light dusk to dawn, the gate light from a sensor and the passage on a timer while the fourth stays an ordinary switch. It joins Wi-Fi directly, with no hub and no gateway.
Count the buttons, and check the neutral
Two things to settle before ordering, and both are quick. The existing plate must have four buttons, not four lamps in the room. And there must be a neutral wire in the back box, because the switch has to power itself with all four circuits off. Older wiring here frequently brings only the live and the switched live to the plate.
What we need from you
The button count and a photograph of the open back box. We will tell you whether it fits before you spend anything.
The same plate in white glass is the 4 gang. For a black glass switch that also takes a 433 MHz remote, look at the SONOFF touch switch in black, though it runs on a different app. Tuya, whose platform this one uses, is at tuya.com.

Questions
Do I need a hub?
No. It joins your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on its own and works in the Smart Life or Tuya app.
Do I need a neutral wire?
Yes, and this is the question to settle before you order. Many older switch boxes here have only the live and the switched live. Ask your electrician to open the plate and look.
Will it work if the internet goes down?
The touch panel still switches the lights. The app and the voice control need the connection.
Can somebody else in the house control it?
Yes. Share the device in the app and every account you share it with gets the same control.
Who fits it?
A licensed electrician. It replaces the existing switch in the wall box and is wired to mains.
