About this product
Three remote control plug sockets and one handset. Press a button, the socket switches. That is the whole product, and for a lot of people it is exactly the right one.

Remote control plug sockets use radio, not Wi-Fi
These remote control plug sockets are a radio remote on 433.92MHz and nothing else. There is no app to install, no account to make and no network to join.
That is a limitation and a feature at the same time. They keep working when the internet is down, when the router is off, and for somebody who does not want a smartphone standing between them and a lamp. What you cannot do is switch anything from outside the house.
Who they are actually for
A standard lamp behind a sofa. A socket behind a wardrobe. A heater in a room where the switch is on the wrong wall.
And above all, for anybody who should not be bending down to reach a socket. The handset lives on the arm of a chair or beside the bed, and that is a genuine daily difference for an older person in a way that an app on a phone is not.
Range and how the signal behaves
30 metres in the open, and the signal goes through walls and doors, so the remote does not need line of sight.
That is the practical advantage of radio over the infrared used by television remotes. You can switch a socket in the next room from where you are sitting, without pointing at anything.
They work out of the box
The three sockets are pre-paired to the handset. Unpack them, plug them in, press a button.
There is also a learning function, so you can add more sockets or a second handset of the same model later. That is worth knowing if you want a handset upstairs and one down.
What they will run
Rated 13A, 3120W at 240V, which covers anything you would plug into a normal socket, including a heater or a kettle. CE and RoHS marked.
The handset takes a 12V 23A cell and it comes fitted, so they work the moment they arrive. If you want the same convenience but with schedules, voice control and switching from outside the house, that is a Wi-Fi smart plug instead, and it needs a phone and a network. Questions
Can I control these from my phone?
No. These are radio remote sockets, not smart plugs. There is no app and no Wi-Fi. If you want phone and voice control, look at our WiFi Smart Plug or the TP-Link plug instead, and tell us what you are switching and we will help you pick.
Then why buy these instead of a smart plug?
Three reasons people actually give us. They work when the internet is down. They need no phone, no account and no setup, which matters for an older person or a rented room. And one handset does three sockets from the chair.
Does the remote have to be pointed at the socket?
No. It is radio, not infrared, so it goes through walls and doors up to about 30 metres in the open. Through a couple of block walls expect less.
Can I add more sockets later?
Yes, if they are the same model. They have a learning function, so extra sockets can be taught to the handset you already have, and a second handset can be taught to the sockets you already have.
What can I plug into one?
Anything up to 13 A or 3120 W: lamps, fans, heaters, a television, a fish tank. Not a geyser or a cooker, which are wired in rather than plugged in.
Anything else? Ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight.
