A conductive measuring layer sits under a tempered glass top in a slim 24mm body, it takes up to 180kg, and it runs on three AAA batteries that come in the box. No wiring, no charging, no hub.

How the eufy Smart Scale P1 reads fourteen figures

Weight comes from load cells under the glass. Everything else comes from bioelectrical impedance: a tiny current passes up through one foot and down through the other, and the resistance it meets is what the scale turns into body fat, body water, muscle mass, bone mass, visceral fat, protein, BMR and body age.

Because it works that way, the conditions matter. Weigh barefoot, on a hard floor rather than a rug, with dry feet, and at roughly the same time each day. Do that and the line the app draws is a line you can actually read.

Why the chart matters more than the number

A single weigh-in tells you very little. Weight swings a kilo or two through a normal day on water alone, and body composition figures move with it.

Three months of daily readings is a different thing entirely. The EufyLife app plots every measurement over time, and that trend is what tells you whether the training or the diet is doing anything. This one or the Wyze scale

Take the P1 if the household is large. Sixteen profiles against eight, and the extra readings include body age and a lean body mass figure the Wyze does not separate out.

Take the Wyze Scale if you want a heart rate reading taken on the scale itself, or if you like that its electrodes run across the whole glass so you can step on anywhere.
