Three circuits, and a way in that does not need the network
The WiFi touch switch RF 3 gang covers three circuits from one plate, and carries a 433 MHz receiver behind the glass as well as Wi-Fi. On a three gang plate that second radio matters more than on a one gang, because a hall plate controlling three things is the one you least want to lose when the router reboots. Pair a remote and all three keep working with nothing on the network at all.
Where three gangs and RF go together
Typically an entrance hall or a corridor: the passage, the outside light and the sitting room, all switched from the door. Add a 433 MHz handheld and the same three circuits can be run from a bedroom at the other end of the house without pulling a single cable. That combination is difficult to achieve any other way at this price.
On a WiFi touch switch RF 3 gang, each circuit is its own device
All three appear separately in Smart Life, each with its own schedule and voice name. Scenes can be triggered by mode, by temperature, by humidity or by another device, so the outside light can follow dusk while the passage follows a sensor and the third stays a plain switch.
The build
PC and tempered glass on a fire resistant shell, phosphor bronze connectors, CE, FCC and RoHS marked. On a three gang plate carrying three mains circuits, the connector quality is worth more attention than the glass; phosphor bronze keeps its grip where cheaper metal relaxes over the years.
Before ordering
Count the buttons on the existing plate, and check there is a neutral wire in the back box. Both are quick to confirm with the cover off, and both decide whether this switch can go in at all.
The remote is sold separately: the RF wireless remote or the wall mounted RF wireless switches. For two circuits, the 2 gang version. Setup happens in Smart Life, a free download.

Questions
What does the RF actually give me?
A way in when the network is not there. Pair a 433 MHz remote and it switches the lights with no router, no internet and no app.
Which remotes work with it?
Any 433 MHz transmitter. We stock a handheld remote and RF wall switches that pair to it.
Do I need a neutral wire?
Yes. Many older switch boxes here have only the live and the switched live, so ask your electrician to open the plate and look before you order.
Do I need a hub?
No. It joins your Wi-Fi on its own.
Who fits it?
A licensed electrician. It replaces the existing switch in the wall box and is wired to mains.
