About this product
The JR Automation Technology Neon Series NS-20SIW0401Y000 is a mains-powered capacitive touch wall panel that combines four on-off lighting switches with a dedicated fan speed regulator on a single faceplate. Designed to fit into a standard 4M modular wall box, it replaces the clutter of separate light switches and rotary fan knobs with a streamlined touch interface.
Lighting and Fan Control
The panel features four capacitive touch switch channels alongside a dedicated fan control interface. Each lighting channel supports electrical loads up to 1600W, while the fan controller handles ceiling fan loads up to 500W across five discrete speed settings. The panel operates on standard 220-250V AC mains electricity and supports an overall rated current of 16A. Built-in LED backlighting provides blue and red status indication with automatic day and night brightness adjustment.
Z-Wave Integration and Requirements
Wireless communication is handled by an integrated 700 series Z-Wave module operating on the Z-Wave IN frequency, offering an open-air wireless range of up to 150 metres. Because the unit is powered directly by mains electricity, it also acts as a Z-Wave network repeater to route signals across your mesh network. Each switch channel can also be configured within your automation system as a scenario switch to trigger multi-device scenes.
Installation and Compatibility
This unit requires a 4-module (4M) modular back box and direct connection to 220-250V mains wiring. Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician. To integrate with smart home apps and voice assistants, a compatible Z-Wave hub operating on the Z-Wave IN frequency is required. A Z-Wave controller is not included with the unit.
