About this product
Overview
The JR Automation Technology Neon Series 2-gang touch panel replaces a traditional two-gang wall plate with a capacitive glass interface. Built on a Z-Wave 700 series wireless platform, it connects to a compatible Z-Wave smart home controller to allow remote appliance and lighting automation alongside manual touch switching.
Electrical Capacity and Operation
The unit operates on standard 220 to 250V AC power and carries an overall 16A current rating. Each of the two independent capacitive touch channels switches loads up to 1600W. The integrated LED backlight automatically adjusts its output intensity between day and night lighting levels. Each touch channel can also be configured within your smart home system to trigger automation scenarios.
Installation and Requirements
The panel is built for retrofit installation into a standard modular electrical back box. Because it connects directly to mains electrical wiring, fitting must be carried out by a licensed electrician. Remote operation and smart functionality require a compatible Z-Wave controller supporting the 700 series chipset and IN wireless frequency. A controller is not included in the box.

Does this switch require a hub for smart operation?
Yes. Wireless and remote control requires a compatible Z-Wave gateway or controller running on the supported 700 series frequency. A hub is not included.
What electrical load can each channel handle?
Each channel supports electrical loads up to 1600W on a 220-250V AC supply, with the overall panel rated at 16A.
Does the switch fit into existing wall boxes?
Yes. It is designed to retrofit into a standard modular electrical back box and must be wired by a licensed electrician.
Does the LED backlight stay bright in dark rooms?
No. The LED backlight automatically regulates its brightness based on ambient day and night light levels.
