About this product
The Fire TV Stick Lite is the cheapest way into Fire TV. A Full HD streaming stick with HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG, a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 8 GB of storage and Dolby Atmos passed through, plugged into any television with a spare HDMI port.

Read this before ordering the Fire TV Stick Lite
It ships with the Alexa Voice Remote Lite. That remote drives the stick and takes voice commands, and it does not have power or volume buttons for your television. So you keep the TV remote for switching the set on and changing the volume, and you end up with two remotes on the arm of the chair. That is the whole of the difference and it is the thing people are annoyed about afterwards, so we are putting it first. If one remote for everything matters, buy the standard Fire TV Stick instead.
Everything else is the full Fire TV
The apps are the same, the voice search is the same, the interface is the same. Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and the rest, with a 1.7 GHz quad core processor and 8 GB of storage behind them. This is not a cut down operating system with a smaller catalogue; it is the same product with a cheaper remote.
HDR on a Full HD picture
Output is up to 1080p, with HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG, and Dolby Atmos passed through to a soundbar or receiver. HDR on a 1080p set is a genuine improvement where the television supports it, so this is not simply the cheap one: on the right screen it looks considerably better than the resolution suggests.
Bluetooth headphones, which is the underrated feature
Bluetooth 5.0, including Low Energy, so a pair of headphones pairs straight to the stick. Watching something late without waking the house is the reason many of these get bought, and it works exactly as you would hope.
What you need
A television with a spare HDMI port, a Wi-Fi connection and an Amazon account. Dual band Wi-Fi 5 with MIMO and two antennas, the mains adapter, the HDMI extender and two AAA batteries all in the box.
For a remote that also runs the television, the Amazon Fire Stick. For a 4K set, the Fire Stick 4K or, on a Wi-Fi 6 router, the 4K Max. The Fire TV family is documented on Wikipedia.

Questions
Does the remote turn my television on?
No. The Alexa Voice Remote Lite has no TV power or volume buttons, so you keep your TV remote for that. The standard Fire TV Stick has those buttons, and we sell it.
What does it do that the standard stick does not?
Nothing, on the streaming side. The saving is the remote.
Does it do 4K?
No, this one is 1080p with HDR. The Fire TV Stick 4K and the 4K Max are the ones for a 4K set.
What do I need before it will work?
A television with a spare HDMI port, a Wi-Fi connection and an Amazon account.
Can I use headphones?
Yes. It has Bluetooth 5.0, so a headset pairs straight to the stick.
Anything else? Ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight.
