Smart Lock - Mortise Lock with Handle (S851)

A matte black mortise handle lock with the fingerprint reader in the handle and a backlit keypad above it. The one thing it does that the rest of this range does not is passage mode: switch it on and the door opens on the handle alone, no finger, no code, until you switch it off again.

That sounds small and it is not. An office that is open from eight to five, a shop, a guest house reception, a family house on a Sunday when people are in and out all day: passage mode turns the lock off for the busy hours and back on at night, so nobody is standing at the door with shopping in both hands entering a six digit code.

Five ways in: fingerprint, code, IC card, the Tuya app and a mechanical key. Virtual password entry lets you pad the real code with junk digits, so somebody watching over your shoulder learns nothing. It holds 300 users, nine of them administrators, sounds a trial-and-error alarm after repeated wrong codes, and has a built-in doorbell.

It fits doors 38 to 55 mm thick on a 5050 mortise, 22 x 160 mm, left or right handed, and takes a power bank on the USB Type-C port if the batteries run flat while you are out. Matte black only.
